The Untold Story

Had we become the monsters we set out to fight?

Untold began as a quiet outcry against advertising of old, loudly forced into new media.

More than a decade ago we spoke our first words from idealistic rebellion and technological optimism.

Back when people actually believed in social media as a great equaliser.

After 10 years in the industry that innocence seemed long lost.

And a nagging question remained:

Had we stared into the abyss long enough for it to stare back?

It’s easy to lose your way when the maps are still being drawn.

Maybe even more so when you’re the ones exploring new ground and sketching outlines of the landscape.

It’s easy to forget that map isn’t the territory and media aren’t social.

People are.

That’s why Untold is no longer a social media agency.

We are community pathfinders, insight gatherers, and empathy hunters.

Because systems are temporary and media evolves exponentially faster.

Humans are constant and have only just left the cave.

The third industrial revolution is a fast-changing frontier where digital clans and new kinships light up like campfires on the horizon.

Where people share stories by flickering lights through symbols and avatars.

And where brands can kindle the fire and fuel imagination.

We hunt for the sparks that ignite those kindred flames.

The community connections still unexplored.

The stories yet Untold.
